Flexible & Contract Roles

You will be working on either a Flexible or Contracted basis with us depending on the type of role and what you want to get out of it. Below we have highlighted the main differences between the two types of role.

Flexible

Flexible role is suitable for those who can commit to a minimum of 3 days consisting of 6 hour shifts with hours between 12pm to 8pm (including weekend between 11am to 5pm and evening hours 1pm to 8pm) but want the flexibility to be able to fit the role around existing commitments. Flexible Interviewers are paid per completed survey and typically can expect to earn up to about £90 per day. This is just a guide, some of our top interviewers work full time for us on a variety of projects and earn well in excess of this.

Fees, holiday pay and all travel expenses are paid fortnightly and tax and NI contributions are deducted from your pay.

Contracted

Contracted role is ideal for those who want the stability of guaranteed hours and salary. We offer contracts of either 4 or 5 working days per week, 50% of which need to be worked at evenings and weekends. Our contracts are offered on a 12 month fixed term basis and salaries start at £16,000 per year and can rise to £24,000 depending on the number of hours worked and where in the UK the role is based.

Travel expenses are paid and in some roles you can earn a performance bonus if certain targets are met. Salary and expenses are paid fortnightly and tax and NI contributions are deducted from your pay.

Experienced Interviewer

You do not need experience to join our interviewer panel as full training is provided but if you are an experienced interviewer and currently work, or have worked as a Field interviewer for another company within the last two years, you can be fast tracked on to our panel.

If you choose to do the Face to Face interviewer role on a casual basis you have the flexibility to work for other companies alongside us. We also have contracted roles available (28 or 35 hours per week) for interviewers who want full time work and will commit to interviewing for Ipsos only.

To apply and have the opportunity to work on a variety of different surveys for Ipsos please click on the apply button. A member of the Field Recruitment team will be in touch within two days and, if you are successful, we will fast track you onto our 1-day experienced interviewer training and aim to have you out in the field working for us within a week.
